By capturing oil and other contaminants from the PCV system before they reach the intake, this catch can helps keep intake valves and other components free of buildup, promoting consistent engine performance and longevity.
This kit includes hoses specifically designed for the K20C1 engine’s PCV system, simplifying installation. A one-way check valve is integrated into the lines to maintain proper airflow, preventing backflow of crankcase gases. The included mounting bracket installs directly on the Civic Type R’s firewall, ensuring a secure fit.
The 2oz catch can, which features a 50-micron bronze filter and internal air diverter to enhance oil separation, is available with a bracket in black or Rallye Red.
